Alexia DeBono

Alexia has always loved stories, and the way that they allow people to see others and the world in different and beautiful ways. Her love of books and stories inspired her to get a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Linguistics, and firmly believes that the words we use with others and ourselves have a great impact on how we can see the world. She is currently working as a content writer, but dreams of working in a company that allows her to help others to publish their own stories.

In May 2021, Alexia co-founded Malta's first openly pro-choice political party, Volt Malta, and is currently sitting on the Board as Co-President. She is also a passionate advocate for inclusivity, intersectionality, and the importance of mental health.

When Alexia isn't reading, writing or working on Volt Malta, you can find her sipping some tea with loved ones or cuddling with her sassy cat, Luna.
