Why should you visit a dentist?
Dentists can diagnose and treat problems related to teeth and tissues in the mouth. They can also give advice and administer care to help prevent future problems. They can also provide you with accurate instructions about brushing, flossing, using flourides and all other aspects of dental care.
You should visit your dentist at least once every 6 months to ensure that your teeth and gums are healthy, and also if you develop any pain in your teeth or mouth, bleeding or swelling of your gums.

An Orthodontist specialises in dentistry that focuses on correcting bites, occlusion and the straightness of the teeth. Orthodontists are trained in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of dental and facial irregularities, providing a wide range of treatments to help straighten crooked teeth, fix bad bites and align the jaws in a correct way.
