A positive, respectful approach to an individual’s sexuality and choice of relationships along with the possibility of experiencing safe, pleasurable, sexual experiences is a requisite of good sexual health. Sexual rights should be respected, protected and fulfilled, without any traces of coercion, violence and discrimination (World Health Organisation, 2002).
