WHAM

Welcome to Wham

Welcome to Women Health and More (Wham), a bi-lingual portal that seeks to reflect the lives of women living on the Maltese islands. We feel it is essential to showcase the reality and diversity of what it means to be a woman in Malta in the 21st century.

Wham shines a light on the struggles, hopes, dreams and achievements of women from all walks of life and encourages our readers to engage and write in to share their lived experiences.

Your stories will raise awareness and reflect women’s truths.

Wham strives to promote and highlight current local women and health-related trends. Together with our team of contributors and experts, we provide well-researched, engaging, relevant and fun content with local flavour and perspective.

We look forward to becoming your local reference point and have put together a team of experts and contributors from different areas who are on hand to guide you and support you. Our lists of valuable services and numbers have been carefully collected to enable you to find various professionals in different fields, allowing you to see where they can be visited or contacted.

Wham takes pride in being an organisation with a social conscience.

We aim to employ women who prefer or need to work remotely. This also makes us kind towards the environment since all employees work from home, cutting down on the need for additional office space, traffic issues and fuel consumption. Wham also pledges to donate a percentage of revenue generated from advertising to women’s organisations.

By informing and empowering women, discussing and promoting women’s lived experiences, celebrating women’s achievements, and sharing our concerns and interests, we hope we can empower women to lead better, healthier, and happier lives.

We’d love to hear from you! Share your thoughts and comments by filling out a simple form on our Contact Us page.
