Driving back home following our ritualistic visit to my parents, we put on Alessia’s favourite sound track – Shrek. Alessia must have been around 2 years old at the time. understanding disability

Sitting in one of the university lecture halls, eyes wide open, I crouched forward placing all my efforts to consume every single word uttered by the lecturer who was introducing us students to a new way of understanding disability.
