Hi all, so finally everywhere is re-opening and we can start to enjoy some socialising once again! So I’ve decided to come up with a video tutorial on how you can quickly change up your look from day to night with some simple steps in this day to night makeup tutorial – perfect for the woman on the go.
Step by step instructions and products:
Step 1: Grab an eyeshadow palette of your choice, preferably with neutral tones. I’m using the “Naughty” palette by Huda Beauty which can be purchased online from CultBeauty. As for makeup brushes mine are by BHCosmetics which I purchased from BeautyBay.
Step 2: Dip your eyeshadow brush in a dark brown shade and apply it to the outer corner of your eyes.
Step 3: Use a smaller brush and use the same tone of brown under your eyes, I like to go half way across. Apply to both eyes.
Step 4: Grab a clean fluffy blending brush and swish back and forth as well as circular motions to make sure you blend the eyeshadow. We don’t want any harsh lines or blotches of colour.
Step 5: Pick a shimmery coloured eyeshadow of your choice, I’ve gone for a gold tone. I prefer to apply with shimmer/glitter shadows with my fingertips and then press onto my eyelids.
Step 6: Again pick up that clean fluffy blending brush and blend.
Step 7: with that same brush, dip into a light beige tone and apply to the crease, making sure to blend.
Step 8: Pick up your concealer and brush to clean up any edges and of course, blend.
Step 9: This is optional, apply some black eyeliner pencil to the outer corner of your uppler eyelid and gently smudge it.
Step 10: Go in with your mascara to give your lashes a fresh coat and take away any powders left by the eyeshadows.
Step 11: Gently remove whatever lip product you were wearing for the day and apply something a little darker/bolder. I’m using lip pencil in shade “Spice” by MAC and lipstick in shade “Creme in your coffee” also by MAC
And that’s it, a quick change of outfit or hair (of course this is totally optional too) and you’re good to go!
Now go out and have fun but remember be responsible…. we don’t want another lockdown!
