We all know the importance of using sunscreen to prevent sun damage, wrinkles and cancer, but how many of us have actually found one we really like and won’t leave the house without? Finding the right sunscreen, one that isn’t too sticky, too streak or too thick, is a challenge. Every summer I end up buying two or three different ones and have never really found the perfect one.
Since my summers are spent living on a boat in 30 plus climates, I need to ensure that I have a good sun cream that is waterproof and that doesn’t make me look pale and sickly. I need something that is easy to apply without a mirror and that does not leave me looking shiny and my skin feeling oily or sticky.

I was sceptical I don’t like these big promises and I had never heard of it before, but my friend assured me that I hadn’t heard of it because it wasn’t available in Malta before. It sounded too good to be true especially since I have tried so many others. However, I thought I should give it a try.
I must say it’s totally different to all the sun creams I’ve tried before – for those of you who have tried and used skin primers this is exactly what this sun protection cream feels like. My friend loves the tinted one but I never use foundation or anything tinted so I prefer the natural one that feels so smooth and glides on easily and I don’t need to worry that I have any white patches or left any part of my face exposed to sun burn.

Its parabens and fragrance free and suitable for sensitive skin, dermatologically tested and is water resistant and leaves a matt finish for up to six hours so it’s great for walking around in hot sunny town or for those al fresco lunches too.
I can finally say I have now found the best suncream to use and it comes in SPF 30 or SPF 50.
